St Andrew’s Church Heckington. A magnificent church built in the decorated Gothic style, has remained relatively untouched, and is considered today to be one of the most architecturally pure. It owes its splendour to Richard de Pottesgrave, chaplain, secretary and confessor to King Edward II, who was made rector of Heckington in 1309.

Heckington WindmillThe 8-sailed windmill of Heckington. This unique windmill is the only working 8-sailed windmill in the country. It is well worth a visit, for a small charge you can explore all four floors.
